Especially since you're running the software on an Os that'southward 3 generations more than electric current than what it was designed for that'southward a major discrepancy.

I'd advise you follow the process described here Update Role 2008

Once the software is fully updated run Deejay Utility to repair permissions again then restart your Mac. If you lot proceed to have a problem reply in this thread for further suggestions.

Hi Bob,

thank you for your respond to my question. It was helpful in so far that I learned how to use the Microsoft update characteristic . In that location is obviously a difference between the United states of america an the European market place. The latest update I got was 12.3.6.

The trouble with WORD however still persists. WORD stops working when I select the drawing-symbols; all other symbols piece of work fine.

This may remedy the situation (I'm bold y'all meant View> Toolbars> Drawing?);

  1. Go to View> Customize Toolbars & Menus
  2. On the Toolbars & Menus folio, click the proper noun of the Drawing toolbar
  3. Click the Reset button
  4. Click OK
  5. Quit Give-and-take -- If prompted to save changes to Normal.dotm template click OK and then see if things are better when you launch the program

cheers over again for your attempt. Your assumption is absolutely correct.

But, going through your procedure Discussion stops reacting already when I effort to select "Drawing" in your step two.

When going through "Font Weeding" I get the reply "no duplicates found".
